Cabin Entry Welcome

This acrylic painted and marine polyurethane-sealed entry way is decorated with pinecones and pine needles on the porch entryway of a log cabin in the Lake Sunapee region of New Hampshire.

 

 

Girl’s Painted Castle Bed

My very talented husband created this one-of-a-kind wooden bed complete with opening doors under the mattress for our daughter and little princess.  The paint is safe for children, non-toxic, lead-free, water-based acyrlic with peapod vines, a shy king, a noble knight, turrets, and a friendly dragon reading my daughter’s favorite book to her in his embrace.

My little girl was tickled pink when she discovered her new bed had an image of her on it reading her favorite bedtime book with a friendly dragon watching over her.  I used a variety of techniques to achieve my desired finish including airbrushing and applying colorful glass beads into the gold crown on the headboard.
